Job description

Position Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits at outlets to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene practices, product quality, and regulatory requirements according to the established standards and scheduled plans.
  • Review, verify, and follow up on corrective actions to ensure effective and timely implementation.
  • Communicate best practices, food safety protocols, and quality standards to retail outlet teams to ensure consistent implementation and awareness.
  • Monitor and analyze outlet audit performance, identify gaps through analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and compliance.
  • Maintain relevant documentation, updating and revising as necessary.
  • Lead and guide team members to achieve project deliverables successfully, fostering collaboration and maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on special projects or tasks assigned by superiors or management.
  • Support in executing the Supplier Quality Management program, evaluate current suppliers, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in product complaints handling, including investigation, resolution, and reporting of all complaints.
Qualifications & Experiences
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Formal training in relevant technical areas such as HACCP or GFSI.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control and assurance within the F&B chain industry.
  • Fluent in English and Malay (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, quality assurance terminology, and tools.
  • Technical experience with certification audits like HACCP is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn new information and adapt to new opportunities.
  • Effective communication skills with team members, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Own transportation and willingness to travel.
