Responsibilities:
- Drive business development including physical stores and also Roboshop stores for Malaysia markets.
- Develop new business partnership opportunities, manage launch timelines and pipelines, cross function collaboration.
- Build strong long-term relationships with business partners.
- Manage mechanisms of all projects with internal and external parties including contractors, vendors, consultants and shopping centre management.
- Organize and coordinate the project bidding procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities and obtain necessary approval, license and documentation. Local authorities including main contractors, vendors, landlords, shopping malls, site supervisors, government departments and etc. Responsible for projects from initiation to end (A-Z).
- Draft new business proposals to targeted brands and retailers.
- Support budget, sales forecast reports and assist with various market research.
- Monitor competition and market trends in order to expand the product pipeline.
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Proven experience in business development, or in a similar role.
- Candidates with experience dealing with malls will be prioritized.
- Possesses a tenacious sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Good problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong self-driving force.
- Willing to travel around and possess own transport.
- Mandarin as the working language, with English or Malay as a second language. Proficiency in both is required.
