We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to guide and develop a team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, managing the monthly and yearly closing processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

1. Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, employee/credit card expenses, journal entries, close checklist, reconciliation, and system automation projects. Ensure accuracy in financial data and adherence to accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS). Prepare and present financial reports and provide analysis on financial performance.
2. Month End and Year End Closing: Lead the closing processes, review journal entries, and ensure the integrity of financial records during the close.
3. Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with regulations and policies, design internal controls, and coordinate audits.
4. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and support the accounting team, assign tasks, and ensure professional growth.
5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, utilize accounting software and automation tools.
6. Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of tax returns, collaborate with tax advisors, and ensure compliance with tax laws.
7. Financial Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations to management, monitor KPIs.
8. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other roles as assigned by the company and superiors.

Requirements / Skillset:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Leadership, communication, analytical, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
