Reporting to the Group CFO and assisting in overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the Accounts Department.

Job Description

• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Finance & Accounts Department.
• Preparation of accounts, tax, and audit of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc group reporting, annual budgeting, forecasts, and analysis of group financial performance, including cost control and variance analysis.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other statutory bodies.
• Assist senior management and BOD in internal control, policy compliance, and system efficiency improvements.
• Manage all financial, accounting, and tax compliance functions in accordance with statutory and tax requirements.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and operational efficiency across business units within the group.
• Prepare audit and tax schedules for annual filing.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA).
• Experience with computerized accounting systems, preferably SAP.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and statutory bodies.
• Familiar with annual budgets and forecasts.
• Knowledge of reporting standards for public listed companies.
• Proficiency in accounting software and computer applications.
• Responsible, proactive, and hardworking with a sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
• Preferably senior executives in finance or related fields.
