- To assist the Assistant Manager/Manager or any other Supervisors in formulating, developing, implementing, and reviewing strategic planning initiatives.
- Supporting the various functions of the Division through analysis, data mining, report preparation, investment proposals, and providing recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations to Supervisors through analysis and data mining for developing short- and long-term strategic and operational objectives to achieve DRH’s goals and business targets.
- Liaise with and follow up with relevant department heads, divisions, and/or senior management of the Operating Units (“OUs”) to ensure understanding and implementation of DRH’s strategic and operational objectives.
- Periodically monitor the performance of the Company, its subsidiaries, and/or investments against the approved strategic objectives and goals.
- Participate in developing functional strategies to improve performance and processes at subsidiaries and OUs.
- Participate in investment proposals/partnership opportunities from initiation, financial evaluation, research, due diligence, negotiation, to BOD approval and deal execution, including preparing financial models, approval papers, reports, and presentations.
- Perform industry and market research to enable better decision-making for Supervisors.
- Participate in other departmental functions including corporate planning, business performance, finance, corporate exercises, reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, listing, and fundraising as required.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Business / Finance / Accounting / Commerce
- Postgraduate qualifications or MBA are advantageous.
Professional Experience
- 3-4 years in investment, portfolio management, research, corporate finance, corporate strategy, or management consulting.
- Experience in property development, master planning, leisure, or tourism industries is an advantage.
- Strong financial and analytical skills – ability to construct, navigate, and interpret financial models; proficiency in reading and understanding financial statements.
- Excellent financial modelling skills in Excel – experience with DCF, PE multiples, debt components, cash flows, IRR, and investment returns.
- Ability to draft comprehensive reports, memorandums, investment proposals, and presentations using Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent English grammar.
- Analytical, self-motivated, diligent, detail-oriented, able to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills.
- Teamwork ability and stakeholder management.
- Experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring team members.
