Job description

Candidates must have a Degree in Accounting.
Max pay is RM7K.
Race: Open race.
Min year of experience: >5 yrs.
Subordinate: 1 staff (Malaysia) and 1 staff (Singapore).
Location: Putra Heights - Hybrid working.
Age limit: N/A.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsibility for Singapore (CCPL) and Malaysia (CCM) accounts.
  2. Reporting to the General Manager, complying with their requirements.
  3. In-charge of group and subsidiaries' financial and accounts.
  4. Review and analyze subsidiaries financials and operating costs of monthly financial statements and management reports.
  5. Perform monthly Group Consolidation and cash flow projections.
  6. Timely and accurate preparation of financial reports in accordance with group policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  7. Responsible for group quarterly & annual budget, monthly forecasting, and PL & Balance Sheet review and monitoring.
  8. Prepare PowerPoint slides and board papers for quarterly financial performance for board review and approval.
  9. Creation and presentation of ad-hoc financial analysis and participation in ad-hoc finance projects as required.
  10. Cost controllership including Actual versus Budget and explanations of variances.
  11. Check payroll calculation, CPF reporting, IR8A, Tax Clearance, and other related duties for Singapore.
  12. Assist General Manager to work out sales targets and incentives.
  13. Review GST reporting and Government Surveys.
  14. Assist General Manager in improving current business operations and internal controls, providing recommendations from business experience and financial view.
  15. Compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  16. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions.
  17. Liaison with company secretary on all secretarial functions.
  18. Review business agreements, tenancy agreements, insurance policies, services contract agreements, and others.
  19. Monitor team performance and motivate them to ensure that department goals are met.
  20. Other duties, including ad-hoc projects such as licensing business project, rental equipment, Trademarks, Commissioning project, Wellness program, retainer services project.
