Job description

Our Manufacturing Division is expanding! We are looking for a Production Engineer in the automotive parts manufacturing (two-wheels) sector to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production of automotive components. This role involves designing workflow systems, implementing lean manufacturing techniques, improving productivity, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify, analyze, evaluate, validate, and develop SOPs to standardize working methods and tools to achieve consistent performance and improve productivity.
2. Identify process inefficiencies by adopting principles of LEAN manufacturing.
3. Plan, organize, coordinate, and validate new machines, equipment, jigs, fixtures, stamping molds, bending die setups, commissioning, and qualification for production.
4. Work with specialized equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and robotic welding processes to optimize automation.
5. Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
6. Implement 5S and Kaizen activities continuously.
7. Establish and review safety work procedures to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
2. Fresh graduates or 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment are welcome to apply.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
4. Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Additional info:

This role will be based in Sri Cheeding, Jenjarom / Banting by the end of 2025. Willingness to relocate to this location is preferred.

Working days: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm; Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:15 pm.
