We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented IT Manager to take ownership of our entire IT landscape. In this pivotal role, you will formulate and oversee the execution of our IT strategy, ensuring robust infrastructure, effective policies, stringent security, high-performing teams, and comprehensive disaster recovery plans that empower our business to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Seamless IT Operations: Ensure the consistent and reliable delivery of critical IT services, including end-user support, identity management, and data protection through effective backup and recovery strategies.
- Establish and Maintain a Robust IT Framework: Define, implement, and regularly update IT policies and procedures that support business goals and adhere to relevant industry regulations.
- Secure and Optimize Network Infrastructure: Manage and monitor network security protocols (firewalls, Wi-Fi) and network performance to safeguard against threats and ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain High-Performing Server and Cloud Systems: Proactively monitor server, VMware, and cloud environments, implement necessary updates, and enforce system compliance and security protocols.
- Automate for Efficiency and Consistency: Develop and implement automation scripts (Python, PowerShell) to streamline infrastructure provisioning and standardize change management workflows.
- Lead, Develop, and Manage IT Resources: Provide leadership and mentorship to IT engineers, effectively manage external vendors, define performance metrics, and foster a high-performing operational environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure management, including 2+ years with cloud and virtualization.
- Experience in designing, implementing and supporting core IT technologies: Windows Server, Virtualization, Desktop Management, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Veeam Backup, VLANs, and VPN.
- Hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP and VMware/Hyper-V.
- Proficiency with scripting for automation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese to effectively collaborate with international teams and partners.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly as required by the role.
Preferred Certifications & Skills:
- Professional Certifications such as MCP, MCSE, CCNA, and ITIL or equivalent.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator is an added advantage.
