Job description

We are currently seeking a Training Executive to join our DHL eCommerce team based in Puchong, Malaysia.

The Training Executive will be responsible for end-to-end training management for Operations, including training needs analysis, training plans, design & development, procedures, and processes. They will conduct training sessions via workshops, one-on-one sessions, and on-the-job training. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build training documents, develop training master plans, procedures, user manuals, and policies to enhance training quality.
  • Develop and manage training programs and budgets to ensure effective performance.
  • Conduct training courses for Operations users and develop strategic policies, procedures, and responsibilities for the operations training department. Implement training efforts through workshops, one-on-one sessions, and on-the-job training.
  • Maintain quality standards by evaluating feedback and initiating corrective actions.
  • Manage and consolidate local training needs, trainer capacity, cost calculations, and training schedules.
  • Measure training effectiveness and its impact on organizational business development.
  • Develop internal trainers to meet training demands.
  • Liaise with the Regional Team regarding updates on systems and operational processes to conduct refresher trainings.
  • Participate in BAT testing during system updates such as MIRROR and LMP.
  • Develop performance improvement training to support company goals.
  • Maintain and update Ops SOPs & WI (document control).
  • Perform audits during depot/hub visits to ensure adherence to SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in Training or related fields.
  • Experience in the Logistics Industry, particularly in Operations. Prior operations training experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, computer, organizational, project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven strategic thinking and influencing abilities.
  • Strong motivation, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Good knowledge of courier/express shipment management and delivery processes.
