Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in contracts administration or management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experience with pre- and post-contract stages.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); knowledge of AutoCAD or contract software is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Handle pre & post contract for any projects assigned by your superior.
  • Prepare contract and sub-contract documents including Bill of Quantities, Specifications, etc., for tenders.
  • Prepare project budgets, tender evaluations, analysis, and tender reports.
  • Draft contract agreements and recommend awards to management.
  • Validate site valuation and measurements, recommend interim payments, variations, and final accounts for main and sub-contracts, and process consultant’s fee claims.
  • Compile cost plans and data for future project planning related to construction and development costs.
  • Prepare prequalification & shortlisting reports for management approval regarding contractors and subcontractors.
  • Update cost information on building materials.
  • Conduct value engineering to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
  • Assist in design reviews to optimize costs.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical or non-technical issues.
  • Assist in implementing the Integrated Management System (IMS) and manage financial processes affecting other departments.
  • Perform any other duties as instructed by management.
