We are growing our Merchandising Team! The Merchandising Executive will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing effective merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility, maximize sales, and improve customer experience across both physical and digital retail channels.

Responsibilities

1. Manage trade marketing support (POSM, In-store display, etc) and sampling.
2. Promote products on peak days, i.e., public holidays, Fridays, and weekends.
3. Perform regular market visits and outlet checks to ensure quality of service, coverage, and distribution are maintained at high standards.
4. Manage retail partners' inventory, including stock management and returns.
5. Propose orders to Sales Manager / Store Manager based on demand to prevent OOS issues.
6. Investigate and resolve issues with follow-up actions.
7. Maintain relationships with retail partners by managing and interpreting their requests.
8. Merchandise and display all listed products, ensuring good visibility and availability to ensure proper stock levels in stores.
9. Use shelf placement strategies and in-store displays effectively to market products and maximize exposure.
10. Gather market trend information and customer feedback or complaints for management.
11. Support sales roadshows and event days.
12. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required by management or superiors.

Requirements

1. Minimum 1 year of outdoor merchandising experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
2. Able to work on weekends or public holidays.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive, result-driven mindset.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
6. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
7. Willing to travel outstation if needed.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal teams, external partners, and retail stakeholders.
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Own transport required.
