Job description

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of FortiGate firewalls.
• Manage firewall policies, VPN configurations, and security profiles (IPS, Web Filter, Application Control).
• Review logs and identify potential security threats or anomalies.
• Assist in firewall rule optimisation, policy cleanup, and compliance alignment.
• Support network segmentation, high availability (HA) setup, and firmware upgrades.
• Provide on-site or remote support for incidents and change requests.
• Generate regular reports on firewall performance and security events.
• Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to ensure security posture is maintained.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of firewall policies, NAT, VPN (IPSec/SSL), and routing.
• Familiarity with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer is an advantage.
• Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
• Fortinet NSE4 certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively.
