Responsibilities

• Oversee daily stewarding operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchens and F&B areas.

• Supervise cleaning processes for kitchenware, chinaware, silverware, and kitchen equipment.

• Implement and monitor cyclical cleaning, pest control, and waste management procedures.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely availability of clean and sanitized equipment.

• Monitor and control breakages and losses through effective tracking and handling procedures.

• Liaise with Executive Chef, Catering Manager, Restaurant Managers, and other F&B leadership to anticipate operational needs.

• Uphold the hotel’s safety, hygiene, and sustainability standards by implementing best practices in stewarding.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in stewarding operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Experience in a luxury hotel or large-scale banquet operations is preferred.

• Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or relevant field.

• Food Safety & Hygiene certification is an advantage.

• Ability to implement and monitor cost control and waste reduction practices.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise across multiple departments.
