Where do you fit in?

The role involves assessing customer risk, setting and approving credit limits, analyzing credit exposure, and managing credit terms and securities for higher-risk accounts. It includes approving risk categories, releasing blocked orders, and escalating approvals beyond authority levels. The position also supports sales teams on credit issues and aids senior credit and risk management personnel as needed.

What’s the role?

This role requires a results-driven team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of performing under pressure while maintaining high standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, effectively support sales in credit matters, and confidently challenge business decisions when needed. They must be skilled in conflict resolution, knowledgeable in Management Information (MI) and Business Support, and able to negotiate credibly with senior-level customers and advisors while maintaining strong client relationships.

Credit Risk Management

  • Assess and re-evaluate customer creditworthiness, set credit limits, and manage security arrangements.
  • Analyze financial statements to develop customer risk profiles and recommend credit terms.
  • Approve release of blocked orders and escalate decisions beyond authority level.
  • Ensure compliance with global credit policies, SOX controls, and operational standards.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to credit processes and systems.
  • Maintain and renew security instruments in a timely manner.

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Monitor payment behavior and reassess accounts with delays or negative outlooks.
  • Identify high-risk accounts and apply manual order blocks when necessary.
  • Recommend provisions for bad debts and support receivables risk mitigation.
