Legal Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Specialist to enhance our company's legal management system. The role involves establishing and refining policies and procedures related to risk management, contract management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Improve the company's legal management system by developing and updating policies and procedures.
2. Identify, assess, and manage operational and labor-related risks; provide daily legal consultations on business operations and employment matters.
3. Draft, review, and revise standard legal documents and contract templates, including overseas contracts.
4. Participate in legal aspects of company operations, offering legal advice and managing disputes and litigation.
5. Establish and enhance compliance systems related to regulatory requirements; monitor legal regulations and enforcement trends; provide legal training to business units.
6. Coordinate with external legal counsel and professionals.
7. Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Law or related legal field.
2. Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
3. Strong verbal and written communication abilities; proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible.
4. Proficiency in English and Malay is mandatory; Mandarin skills are a plus.
5. At least 3 years of legal work experience.
6. Familiarity with international legal systems; experience in manufacturing or trade industries overseas is preferred.
