Role Responsibilities

The KYC Operations Analyst 2 is an intermediate-level position responsible for AML monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The goal is to develop and manage Citi’s internal KYC (Know Your Customer) program.

• Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts.
• Review all information and documentation to ensure compliance with local regulations and Citi standards.
• Update KYC forms and client profiles according to policy requirements.
• Follow up with clients to ensure information is received before deadlines.
• Perform KYC tasks, including monitoring and tracking KYC records, assisting with action plans for expiring records, and ensuring records are not overdue.
• Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi’s assets, by ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, adhering to policies, applying ethical judgment, and escalating issues transparently.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years relevant experience in KYC.
• Experience in banking operations, especially in client account opening and pre-requirements processes.
