Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all workshop repairs and maintenance activities, monitor work progress and quality to ensure standards are met.
  2. Plan, organize, and manage maintenance and services of vehicles and heavy machinery.
  3. Participate in research, development, and modification of workshop machinery and equipment.
  4. Provide training and development to subordinates to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  5. Train and guide the workshop team in diagnosing mechanical conditions of vehicles and machinery.
  6. Inspect internal systems and controls to ensure proper operation of vehicles and machinery using diagnostics tools and methodologies.
  7. Establish routines for planning, follow-up meetings, and regular team meetings.
  8. Review existing workshop processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and propose action plans to management.
  9. Monitor the condition of workshop tools and equipment, and arrange for purchase and replenishment of spare parts and tools.
  10. Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
  11. Monitor and process complaints, handling major or complex issues as needed.
  12. Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
  • Possess at least a diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Have 5-8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Advanced knowledge of heavy machinery and vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
