About the role

Ariss Integrated Sdn Bhd, to cater to an ever-expanding range of electrical and instrumentation solutions, is seeking a skilled Procurement professional to join our team in Kijal, Terengganu. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, goods, and services to support our operations and ensure the smooth running of the business.

What you'll be doing
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency
  2. Source and negotiate with vendors/suppliers to obtain the best terms and pricing
  3. Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
  5. Manage supplier relationships and performance
  6. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes
  8. Assist tender/proposal team in preparation of proposals and bids in response to client requests
  9. Collaborate with tender/proposal team to incorporate commercial content into proposals
What we're looking for
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in a related field such as supply chain management, logistics or business administration
  • Minimum 1 year experience and background in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and implement procurement optimization opportunities
  • Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software and systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of procurement best practices and relevant regulations
