Job description

Job Responsibility
  • Primary school teachers teach a range of subjects at the primary education level.
  • Prepare daily and long-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
  • Instruct children individually and in groups, using various teaching methods and materials (e.g., computers, books, games), adapting to children’s varying needs.
  • Maintain discipline and good working habits in the classroom.
  • Plan and conduct activities such as sporting events, concerts, and excursions.
  • Assign and grade classwork and homework.
  • Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate children’s progress.
  • Observe and evaluate children’s performance and behavior.
  • Supervise children during classes and other times in the school day, including during breaks in the playground.
  • Participate in staff meetings and other sessions, and collaborate with other teachers on educational issues.
  • Prepare for and attend parent meetings to discuss children’s progress and concerns.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced/Higher/Gaduate Diploma, Degree, or Advanced Degree.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess a positive attitude, be passionate about teamwork, and excel in interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
