A leading company in the financial sector is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, manage accounting transactions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with financial management. This role requires effective team leadership and stakeholder liaison to ensure compliance and enhance financial processes.
Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Accounting Transactions: Perform and supervise daily accounting transactions, address backlog issues to ensure smooth financial processes, and manage payment processes.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency (including e-invoice processing), internal controls (SOP), cost savings, and documentation processes (ISO).
Team Leadership: Support and supervise team members in their daily transactions and reporting tasks.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, reports, and financial schedules within the agreed timelines.
Supplier Management: Review and verify all unpaid supplier invoices against aging before issuing payments.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Salary: Prepare salary calculations for management’s approval and perform salary and contribution payments.
Stakeholder Liaison: Manage relationships with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other relevant stakeholders.
Ad-hoc Assignments: Take on additional projects as assigned by management to support the company's overall financial health.
Educational Background: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant Experience: Mid-level professional with a strong background in financial management, capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.
Analytical Skills: Meticulous attention to detail and capable of interpreting financial data and providing insights for decision-making.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, a collaborative spirit, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and to supervise and mentor team members effectively.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of QNE Accounting System, MS Office, Outlook Email; strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant software.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential for clear communication with team members, clients, and suppliers.
