Job Position: Accountant

salary Package: RM5,500-RM7,500

Working Day: 5 Days + alt. Sat

Working Hour: Mon Thu: 9:30am 6:30pm

Fri: 9:30am 7:30pm

Sat (alt): 9:30am 1:30pm

Company Background: Jewellery wholesale

Job Scope: Accounting analysis & reporting

Job Responsibilities:

Monitoring daily financial transactions.

Overseeing accounting procedures.

Ensuring tax processes and other financial activities follow government regulations.

Working with banks, public auditors and other external collaborators to ensure financial records are in order.

Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.

Ensuring organisations expenses stay within budget

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification e.g. MICPA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Software skill(s): Microsoft Excel, Word & SQL Accounting Software

At least 3 years similar working experience with strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Fluent in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is preferred as necessary to deal with Mandarin speaking clients or suppliers.
