Job Overview

XTS Technologies Sdn Bhd is a leading provider of industrial automation, ASRS, AMR, robotics integration, and turnkey warehouse solutions. We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development & Sales Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives and develop high-value client relationships across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. This role requires a results-oriented professional who thrives in the industrial technology sector and can deliver end-to-end solutions for manufacturing, logistics, and OEM clients.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and pursue new market opportunities in Malaysia and Southeast Asia for automation, warehouse, and machinery solutions.

• Develop and expand a pipeline of qualified leads through strategic outreach, referrals, exhibitions, and partnerships.

• Understand client needs and propose customized solutions involving ASRS, AGVs, robotics, vision systems, and smart factory integration.

• Drive growth in new market segments such as food processing, e-commerce logistics, and electronic manufacturing.

Sales Management

• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical presentation, proposal, negotiation, closing, and after-sales follow-up.

• Prepare competitive quotations and work with the engineering team to deliver feasible technical solutions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, engineers, and procurement professionals.

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue growth and market expansion.

Strategic Planning

• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to develop go-to-market strategies and pricing tactics.

• Provide feedback to product development and project teams on market trends and customer needs.

• Support marketing campaigns and represent the company at trade shows, webinars, and industry events.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with internal departments including engineering, project, and after-sales to ensure smooth project handovers and client satisfaction.

• Mentor junior sales engineers and support training programs for the sales team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics), Business, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales/business development experience in industrial automation, material handling, or machinery OEM.

• Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, robotics, and factory integration is a plus.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strategic thinker with a solution-selling approach and technical acumen.

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

• Willing to travel locally and across Southeast Asia as needed.
