Continuously seek to minimize machine downtime and perform troubleshooting to identify causes of machine failure.
Work towards improving machine reliability and extending spare part life to reduce maintenance costs.
Plan and implement improvement projects, collaborating with production executives, plant engineers, and factory managers for ongoing enhancements.
Possess knowledge and maintenance skills in PLC control systems.
Execute maintenance tasks including troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, testing, and servicing of plant machinery, equipment, and facilities.
Conduct routine checks on machines and equipment to ensure optimal working condition.
Troubleshoot electrical or electronic issues, recommend solutions, and repair faults as necessary.
Carry out planned improvement projects, repairs, maintenance, and fabrication work prioritizing safety as a key consideration.
Effectively implement the Preventive Maintenance Program (TPM) in collaboration with the production team.
Requirements:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company HSE protocols and local regulations.
Perform maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure product quality, especially in the absence of supervisors.
Be aware that resource shortages can impact maintenance tasks and deadlines.
Have knowledge and experience in electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and PLC control systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
