Job Summary

The primary objective of this position is to support all participants in the day-to-day administration of an assigned group of Single names and their related credit facilities, loan trading settlement, interest schedules, and fees.

The competence with which the incumbent's duties are carried out significantly impacts the credibility of the department, both within and outside the Bank. The incumbent must have a clear understanding of the administrative aspects of each assigned deal to resolve various requests for interpretation and action that arise daily.

Job Description

As a Loan Trading Analyst within RBC Capital Markets - BCS, you will perform liability functions, set up new facilities, maintain existing facilities with daily loan trading activities, and collect interest and fees for a designated group of industry-based borrower names.

Working Hours: 9AM-6PM

What will you do?

1. Set up facility, loan, and fee records in the Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS).
2. Process transactions in ACBS upon requests from Borrowers for advances, rollovers, conversions, or repayments.
3. Process loan trading transactions in ACBS when receiving trade settlement details from the Settlement team.
4. Process interest and fee transactions in ACBS as required by the Credit Agreement.
5. Act as verification officer for all ACBS two-touch transactions.
6. Input and verify information in payment systems (BESS) as required.
7. Clear payments on Chase accounts in a timely manner.
8. Resolve outstanding issues independently with minimal referral and conduct investigations within agreed timeframes, ensuring proper escalation protocols are followed.
9. Act as a backup to other Administrators.
