Duties and Responsibilities
Logistics
- Take the lead role in planning, costing, and allocating vehicles, ensuring sufficient flexibility to meet the varying and changing needs of customers.
- Plan, organize, and manage the work of drivers to ensure tasks are accomplished in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
- Monitor logistics spending to ensure expenses remain within approved budgets.
- Oversee distributions to ensure drivers comply with administrative policies, safety rules, and government regulations.
- Allocate and record resources and movements on transport planning tracking systems.
- Ensure all partners in the supply chain work effectively and efficiently for smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and respond to their requirements.
- Plan and liaise with outsourced transporters to ensure delivery fulfillment within agreed terms.
- Coordinate with the sales team for ad-hoc deliveries and events.
- Investigate, verify, and resolve delivery complaints.
- Attend to any other tasks required by department heads.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a professional certificate, diploma, or higher/graduate diploma in any field.
- Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Preferably 3 years of relevant work experience in this field.
