Job summary

A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking an Import Customer Service Supervisor to oversee air import operations. The successful candidate will ensure effective and timely freight movement while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include handling import issues, coordinating with various departments, and improving service performance. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience in air freight cargo.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years work experience in Air Freight Cargo.
  • Knowledge of Import operation would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily import operations issues and customs formalities.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to management.

Job description

Import Customer Service, Supervisor

Normal working hours

Monday - Friday

Basic : RM2300 - RM2500

Able to work 6 months contract (subject to extend depends on the requirement)

Able to work at KLIA 1 area!

This position is responsible supervising and leading the day to day import operations are being effective and ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Import Department. To ensure delivery of service levels in compliance with company and customer requirements

  • Handle daily import and operations issues and documents of customs formalities related to Air Freight
  • Closely work and coordinate with Superiors on Air Freight Import, handling import operations and warehouse delivery related to customers
  • Effective study and understand the import process and procedures
  • Coordinate with several departments (Ops/Warehouse/Land Transport/Customs)
  • Interact with origin countries, vendors, suppliers and contractors for shipment arrangement via email
  • Work and discuss with custom team related to duties and taxes updates
  • Inquire and collect feedback from customers, sales personals, partners to improve Customer Service performance
  • To follow up with BD/Sales on quotation request with its validity duration prior shipment arrangement
  • Update data entry into Tango for mandatory events (ARR/NFD/DRB/CCD/POD)
  • Update monitoring reports (subject to customer request) via Tango
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Escalations of problems to Management if necessary
  • Accept any additional and immediate task assigned by HOD

Job Specification
