About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interior Designer to join the talented team at ID Channel Sdn. Bhd.. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing beautiful, functional, and practical interior spaces that exceed our clients' expectations. This full-time position is based in our Subang Jaya, Selangor office.

What you'll be doing

1. Collaborating with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
2. Conducting site visits and measurements to gather information about the space
3. Producing detailed design plans, drawings, and mood boards
4. Sourcing and specifying furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials
5. Overseeing the installation and implementation of the design
6. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
7. Providing excellent customer service and managing client relationships
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and innovations

What we're looking for

• A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong technical skills in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent spatial awareness and the ability to visualise 3D spaces
• Creative flair and a keen eye for detail
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• A thorough understanding of building regulations and safety standards
