Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees the operation of all relevant technical systems and conducts regular inspections of plants and other technical operations.
- Ensures that the preventive maintenance program is implemented according to schedule.
- Develops a systematic maintenance plan.
- Responsible for the administration and management of M & E services and property management.
- Oversees the implementation of energy audits and utility conservation measures.
- Supervises a team of technicians in specialized areas.
- Liaises with local statutory governmental organizations regarding utilities such as water, gas, and electricity, including licensing, inspection, and testing to satisfy statutory requirements of all engineering systems.
- Prepares the annual budget, monitors, and controls expenditures related to the overall operation costs of the Technical Services Section, especially the replacement of major equipment.
- Ensures all term contractors’ work meets the scope, terms, and conditions specified and agreed upon in the maintenance/works contracts.
- Attends to staff matters, including staff career development, safety, appraisal, and training, with assistance from the Learning & Development team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or in related fields.
- People and customer-oriented.

- Displays initiative and creativity.
- Strong project management and supervision skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Licensed professional engineer status.
