Job description

Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing all general HR queries.

Oversee all aspects of HR operations for the organization including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection. Ensure timely and efficient hiring to meet staffing needs.

Prepare HR correspondence including employment contracts, internship letters, and commission letters.

Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including personnel files, attendance records, and HR reports. Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, training, and documentation. Handle offboarding procedures for exiting employees, including exit interviews and clearance processes.

Handle employee relations issues, such as grievances and conflict resolution.

Manage all leave applications, processing and accrual in the HR system. Provide leave accrual reports to finance quarterly.

Prepare the annual headcount/employment budget, actual spending, and forecast.

Help organize events such as CSR initiatives and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement and develop a positive and cohesive culture.

Develop strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and career development.

Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization through specific programs or policies.

Update organization chart and provide regional HR support as needed.

Manage payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory contributions.

Administer employee benefits programs and ensure their accurate and timely administration.

Ensure timely distribution of monthly payslips to employees.

Prepare monthly and annual tax reports.

Handle all tasks and reports related to insurance and healthcare.

Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate employee development initiatives to support professional growth.

Stay updated on changes in Malaysian labor laws and regulations to ensure HR practices and policies compliance.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management roles, preferably in a small to mid-sized organization.

Experience in recruitment is an advantage, especially familiarity with recruitment portals and sourcing strategies.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.
