The incumbent reports to the Product Manager on footwear, apparel, and accessories design and artwork.
Creative in idea conceptualization with good business sense in producing, advertising, and printing relevant materials.
Good team player who can work independently within strict timeframes and is able to plan and produce results on time with quality work, preferably with strong skills and a desire in product development.
Conduct research on industry-specific visual trends, related fashion trends, and competitors to ensure our designs are current and competitive.
Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align visuals with brand messaging and target audience preferences.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques and apply these insights to improve and enhance our visual identity.
Requirements
Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
Good fashion sense, preferably in retailing footwear, apparel, and sportswear.
Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
Multi-lingual, hardworking, with good initiative and positive attitudes.
Ability to work in a team, be a self-starter, work independently under minimal supervision, and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
Experience in commercial line designing work is an advantage.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and concepts effectively.
A strong portfolio demonstrating creative skills and an understanding of design trends.
Interest in researching and experimenting with emerging design techniques and styles.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating visually engaging content.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing feedback and adapting to changing priorities.
