Job description

We are currently recruiting for multinational companies in the manufacturing or healthcare industry in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Group Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of group finance matters. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the CFO/Senior Finance Manager, based in Petaling Jaya/Subang.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize consolidated financial reports, for entities and regions assigned.
• Close coordination with other functions and team members in other subsidiaries for smooth finance related submissions.
• Actively involved in forecast and budgeting for both short-term and long-term planning.
• Prepare financial & profitability analytics and metrics and any ad-hoc analysis as and when necessary.
• Ensure compliance of statutory requirements and group policies and procedures.
• Look into continuous process improvements.
• Provide support in the event of any implementation of new financial tools or system.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit/manufacturing industry.
• Possess strong critical thinking, people management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on for both finance and operational function.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is a must
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
