1. Job Description & Qualifications

  • Role: Oversee global procurement, manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance, optimize costs, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and engage with overseas suppliers (e.g., lenses, frames, optical equipment).
  • Negotiate contracts, terms (including Incoterms), and pricing.
  • Manage logistics, customs clearance, and import documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, compliance).
  • Collaborate with logistics, inventory, and QA teams.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies (e.g., diversifying suppliers, contingency planning).
  • Manage invoice processing and returns to suppliers.
  • Handle OEM product forecasting and purchasing.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in international procurement, preferably in optical, medical, or retail sectors.
  • Knowledge of trade compliance (e.g., customs, tariffs, ISO standards).
  • Certifications such as CSCP or CPSM are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relevant languages and cultural awareness aligned with supplier regions.
