Company Overview

A fast-growing Halal F&B restaurant chain headquartered in Bangi, committed to delivering quality, authentic dining experiences across Malaysia. Looking for an experienced and strategic CFO to lead finance function and support sustainable business growth.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute business strategies aligned with growth targets and operational efficiency.
  

• Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support data-driven decisions across expansion, pricing, and menu profitability.
  

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  

• Monitor financial performance versus budget and drive corrective actions when necessary.
  

Retail Operations Finance

• Oversee outlet-level P&L performance, cost of goods sold (COGS), and operational KPIs.
  

• Implement controls for inventory, wastage, procurement, and kitchen productivity.
  

Accounting, Tax & Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Malaysian accounting standards.
  

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all statutory and Halal finance-related regulations.
  

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manage cash flow and working capital to support daily operations and expansion activities.
  

• Optimize payment cycles, supplier terms, and banking relationships.
  

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a growing finance team, ensuring a strong internal control environment.
  

• Strengthen collaboration between finance and outlet operations, procurement etc.
  

Expansion Support

• Support feasibility studies, outlet ROI analysis, and financial due diligence for new restaurant locations or business ventures.
  

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
  
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) highly preferred.
  
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3-5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
  
• Strong experience in F&B, retail, or multi-outlet operations is essential.
  
• Proficiency in financial systems, budgeting tools, and Excel. Familiarity with POS and inventory systems is an added advantage.
  
• Knowledge of Halal financial principles and experience in managing Halal-certified businesses is a strong plus.
  
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Based in or willing to commute to Bangi, Selangor.
