Mission of the Role

Enko Education is seeking a tech-savvy changemaker to lead the rollout of Toddle, our new Learning Management System, across 16 schools in Africa. The ideal candidate is a driven and visionary EdTech leader passionate about transforming education through data, digital tools, and pedagogy. This strategic role involves supporting schools in effectively using Toddle for planning, assessment, and communication, developing EdTech strategies aligned with Enko's vision, and empowering teachers and school leaders.

This role reports to the Group Head of Learning and Teaching and is a fixed 2-year consultancy contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective and consistent use of Toddle for planning, assessment, reporting, and communication in each school.
• Provide reliable academic data to inform teaching, learning, and improvements.
• Develop and support an EdTech strategy aligned with Enko's academic vision.
• Lead the project management of Toddle's rollout, ensuring smooth adoption.
• Develop systems for collecting and analyzing academic data and curriculum planning.
• Train and support school teams to build capacity for data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor progress, generate reports, and collaborate with leadership.
• Stay updated on EdTech innovations, pilot new tools, and guide implementation.
• Engage with school leadership to build ownership and sustainability.

Approach and Levers for Success

• Leverage platform capabilities of Toddle and other tools to streamline workflows.
• Design and refine centralized academic data systems.
• Deliver targeted professional development and create user resources.
• Collaborate with school leaders, coordinators, and other departments to embed systems.
• Provide data visualizations and insights to inform leadership decisions.
• Test and evaluate new technologies through pilots.
• Use governance tools like KPIs and scorecards to track progress and ensure accountability.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Fluent in French and English
• Strong IT skills

• Experience in education sector, as a teacher or similar
• Resident in Africa or Europe
• Project management experience
