Senior Technician Sustaining for Tie Bar Cut Process

Job Description

In your new role, you will:

  1. Troubleshoot TBC equipment breakdowns, both mechanical and electrical/electronic.
  2. Use TFM daily to monitor equipment performance, including UD, SD, MTBA, alarms, and work on improvements.
  3. Sustain equipment performance.
  4. Support the EES engineer with spare part management.
  5. Perform preventive maintenance activities on equipment and tooling.
  6. Assist the EES engineer with documentation and preparation during audits and customer visits.
  7. Sustain 5S practices in the maintenance bay and at equipment appearances.
  8. Ensure safety procedures and proper setup at equipment are followed according to ESH requirements.
  9. Work with minimal supervision.
  10. Take ownership of equipment performance and strive for excellence.
  11. Proactively address problems without waiting for triggers from operators or shift technicians.
Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  1. A Diploma in Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
  2. Passed English & Math at SPM level.
  3. 3-5 years of relevant experience in handling TBC/DBC Trimming machine setup and repair.
  4. Ability to read mechanical drawings and perform measurements with tools like smart scope, Vernier caliper, and micrometer.
  5. Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
  6. Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams.
  7. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
