Job Summary

A project manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects within a defined scope, timeline, and budget. Their role involves planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring various aspects of the project, including resources, schedules, budgets, and risks. The PM works closely with stakeholders, team members, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Tracking and management of each key milestone and plan updates, schedule management.
  • Issue, risk, and dependency management.
  • Maintain support for quality assurance activities that align with quality expectations.
  • Change management.
  • Vendor management.
  • Stakeholder management, project communication, training, and financial management.
  • Administration of progress reports and timesheets.
  • Post-implementation support upon system go-live.
  • Assist in other project management activities as assigned by the Program Director.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of >5 years project management experience covering the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience in managing complex system implementation projects in banking institutions, with strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development.
  • Business and commercial acumen, with at least 5 years as an Analyst prior to this role, covering the full project lifecycle and possessing excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical skills necessary to identify risks and solve problems that may arise during the project.

  • Plan and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assemble and lead project teams.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders and clients.
  • Mitigate project risks and resolve issues.
