1. Support the implementation of Enterprise Data Analytics, assess and develop appropriate analytical models, and develop analytics-driven solutions to support Business Units’ strategies and key business drivers.

a) Understand and manage data flows from raw ingestion (bronze layer) to intermediate (silver) and final (gold) data tables. Ensure strong data lineage, governance practices, and data integrity.

b) Implement scalable, sustainable, and automated data ingestion and transformation processes, including the integration of MLOps frameworks and AI deployment pipelines to ensure efficient and future-ready data solutions.

c) Proactively monitor and manage the health of data pipelines, ensuring ingestion processes are stable, and develop automated alert systems to detect data quality issues or pipeline failures before they impact downstream products.

d) Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and innovations (especially from platforms like AWS), and proactively suggest and introduce relevant solutions to optimize existing processes and enhance data infrastructure.

e) Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine analytical tools, and provide insights that align with business objectives and strategic targets.

f) Validate and enhance existing data models, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and well-understood by Business Units.

g) Adapt requirements and ensure results are aligned with Bursa’s strategic objectives and targets.

2. Dynamic data management, relevant research, and analytics to facilitate Business Units in utilizing data for proactive business solutions.

a) Develop and manage proactive monitoring systems for ingestion processes and automate reporting to ensure data products remain up-to-date and reliable.

b) Establish scalable, automated processes that enable smooth deployment of AI models and MLOps practices, ensuring rapid, accurate delivery of insights.

c) Proactively identify potential data issues and rectify them before they impact stakeholders, enhancing the reliability and accuracy of data outputs.

d) Ensure quality control by regularly auditing the current database, optimizing automation scripts, and maintaining an active knowledge repository.

e) Validate and propose innovative ideas for data visualization, focusing on sustainability and long-term business needs.

3. To facilitate work streams in the preparation and review of the annual Business Plan for the Business Units and provide relevant analytics support including development of financial modelling / forecasting for the industry.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in Statistics or Computer Science and Investment related fields from a recognised tertiary institution

Minimum of 6 years of experience relating to capital markets

Sound knowledge of the capital market and analytical capabilities

Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (i.e. Powerpoint, Excel)

Excellent data science knowledge / Machine Learning (Supervised & Unsupervised) knowledge & skills
