Job description

Our Client:

We are partnering with a Dutch based MNC that specializes in the design and manufacture of advanced, sustainable liquid dispensing systems. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer as part of their strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead investigations into customer-reported issues, compiling structured problem-solving reports (e.g., 8D) to drive resolution.
  • Coordinate root cause analysis activities with local suppliers to address customer feedback and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to improve satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality control measures on critical incoming components and in-process checks, collaborating closely with supply chain partners to ensure product consistency and performance.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective rectification of any quality deviations identified during inspections or audits.
  • Support the establishment and upkeep of quality systems and processes that consistently deliver high-performance products and services.
  • Integrate risk management practices into quality operations, guided by a proactive mitigation strategy.
  • Ensure timely documentation and regular updates of quality records and related reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in plastic injection molding or plastic assembly manufacturing environments.
  • Solid understanding of statistical quality tools (e.g., SPC) and quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across internal departments and with external partners.
  • Proficient in English.
