Key Responsibilities:
Site Planning & Preparation
Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for telecom infrastructure (e.g., towers, base stations, fiber routes).
Assess site readiness and coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams for preparatory work.
Supervise and support the installation of telecom equipment, including antennas, BTS (Base Transceiver Stations), microwave links, and fiber optics.
Ensure adherence to technical drawings, installation standards, and network design specifications.
Project Coordination
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure timely and compliant execution of site activities.
Coordinate material delivery, workforce deployment, and site logistics.
Quality Control & Compliance
Perform quality checks and site audits to verify that installations meet telecom standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Ensure documentation is complete, including site acceptance tests (SAT), as-built drawings, and commissioning reports.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide on-site technical assistance during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Identify and resolve issues related to signal loss, power supply, or equipment integration.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols at all project sites.
Conduct risk assessments and promote a safety-first culture among field teams.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily or weekly site progress reports, including photos, checklists, and site logs.
Maintain updated records for site configurations, inventory, and test results.
Support testing and commissioning of telecom systems to ensure proper functionality.
Assist in final inspections and coordinate project handover to operations or maintenance teams.
