About the role

Hume Cement Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Gopeng, Perak. As a full-time Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams of engineers, tradesmen, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives

Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed

Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to senior management

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry

Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents

Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
