We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to help drive new business. This role is available in BUTTERWORTH office.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Bringing-in sales by doing sales calls and visitation to build rapport with customers with the objectives of meeting sales and profitability targets of the company.
- Handle client queries efficiently, maintaining high standards of client correspondence to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Identify potential new markets and target groups, contributing to the expansion and diversification of our event portfolio.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to create essential event documents and ensure all event requirements are meticulously addressed.
- Coordinate event planning meetings across relevant teams and ensure follow-up actions are taken accordingly.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks or ad hoc jobs assigned by management or your supervisor.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of local competitors and new trends within the events industry.
- Support the team with the operations of complex events where required.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations for clients.
- Assume active on-site presence from site recce to oversee event operations, ensuring smooth event setup.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and clients on-site to address unforeseen challenges and additional requests.
- Complete post-event administrative tasks, including preparing event P&L statements, issuing purchase orders, invoices, and relevant financial documents.
- Ensure collection of payments within the agreed terms.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in marketing, event, or sales-related fields.
- Negotiation, sales prospecting, and selling skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Business acumen with insight, perception, and sharpness to understand client needs and business opportunities.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is preferred as the role requires liaison with English-speaking stakeholders.
- Additional hours may be required during events, including evenings and weekends.
