Purpose of the Role:

The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring the team meets sales targets, generates revenue, and establishes strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, target physician groups, and institutions. This role involves leading, motivating, coaching, and driving the sales team to achieve common goals and objectives. The Sales Manager also develops and assigns projects or initiatives to enhance team capabilities and growth.

Expectations of the Role:
  1. Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, physician groups, and institutions.
  2. Develop and implement customer-specific territory business plans and allocate resources effectively to maximize results.
  3. Monitor and analyze marketplace changes to manage tactical and strategic initiatives effectively.
  4. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across functions.
  5. Hire, train, coach, and develop team members by assigning leadership projects and activities.
  6. Motivate team members by involving them in target setting, forecasting, and empowerment.
  7. Champion the Sales ACE and GROW models.
  8. Conduct performance evaluations and develop coaching plans for team members.
  9. Demonstrate strong leadership and promote an environment of ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  10. Ensure team members adhere to Zuellig Pharma’s core values in their daily responsibilities and interactions.
Attributes Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
