Autodesk Advance Steel Detailer / Inventor iLogic Developer/Designer

The role will be responsible for developing and creating parametric solid part/assembly models, automated parts detailing, bill of materials, and shop drawings.

About you

Knowledge, abilities, and experience

Possess a strong mechanical aptitude, time management skills, and experience with Autodesk Inventor software including iLogic functions, Advance Steel detailing, Microsoft Office, Excel formulas, sheet metal, and racking. Enthusiastic candidates eager to learn, energetic, with a positive attitude and love for exploring new things are welcome.

Main responsibilities

1. Assist and support PE Engineering Manager on all PE Business Unit projects.
2. Study and cross-check project order details against quotations.
3. Coordinate with related departments and regional offices on project details.
4. Ensure consistency between quotation, order pricing, and project details.
5. Discuss and prepare counter proposals for project discrepancies with Engineering Manager and regional offices.
6. Understand basic static load analysis fundamentals.
7. Finalize project design and obtain approval from Engineering Manager and regional office.
8. Prepare detailed fabrication shop drawings and BOMs for approval.
9. Issue drawings and BOM hardcopies for production.
10. Ensure project delivery within timeline and budget.
11. Monitor site progress, issues, and status.
12. Prepare reports on site issues, solutions, countermeasures, and future improvements.
13. Review and update process flow and operation manuals for system and process improvements.
14. Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

Education, certification, and qualifications

Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
