About the job: Head of Legal & Compliance | FMCG up to RM20k
Position Overview:
  • Team Size: 5
  • Salary Range: RM 17,000 - RM 20,000

Oversee all legal matters of the company and provide legal advice to ensure compliance with operational legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop legal strategies to ensure compliance.
  • Advisory Role: Advise management and department heads on legal and compliance issues.
  • Legal Support: Provide legal advice on contractual, litigation, commercial law, and statutory matters.
  • Risk Management: Identify legal risks and advise on corporate legal matters to ensure compliance.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on applicable laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes.
  • Research and Evaluation: Assess risk factors related to business decisions and operations.
  • Document Handling: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts.
  • External Liaison: Coordinate with external legal parties and lawyers.
  • Culture of Compliance: Promote a compliance culture within the company.
  • Integrity and Responsibility: Work with integrity and accountability.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform additional duties as required.
