Role Description
New Project Handling
- Support the NP team as a Quality Lead in defining quality requirements for new projects or the transfer of existing products into manufacturing, including developing Quality Control Plans, associated processes, equipment, and product validation and verification protocols.
- Identify and implement effective process control systems to support validations, including generating protocols to document plans and reports as applicable.
- Collaborate closely with the NP Team to perform product verification and validation activities for both existing and new products.
- Develop project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and tool requirements.
- Review 2D drawings and CAD data to establish testing procedures.
- Collect data and analyze test results using visual, dimensional, and statistical methods.
- Stay informed about and consult on technical advancements.
- Define, develop, and document critical checkpoints and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements.
- Lead a team of technicians, providing training on vision measurement systems, dimensional measurement methods, and other technical support.
- Maintain and monitor the accuracy of inspection equipment through effective calibration and verification systems.
- Represent the Quality Engineering department on cross-functional project teams.
- Compile and analyze measurement data and statistics to assess measurement methods and process capabilities.
Voice of Customer
- Handle customer feedback-related matters as the person in charge.
- Lead cross-functional teams in investigating customer complaints.
- Prepare complaint reports following the 8D methodology.
- Manage and monitor company and departmental KPIs.
- Monitor process lines by compiling and analyzing statistical data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong skills in 2D drawing interpretation, metrology, and problem solving.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent knowledge of GD&T.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
