To provide technical support to business development (BD) and project execution by preparing or reviewing technical proposals and other deliverables to ensure technical conformance and compliance.
Primary job responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Support project team in utility-scale project execution.
- Prepare or review shop drawings and design calculation reports, such as cable sizing, etc.
- Liaise with clients on technical requirements.
- Liaise with consultants or authorities for design approval.
- Provide technical support and advice on design and engineering to the project team.
- Assist the project team with technical advice during installation.
- Support Business Development team in utility-scale tenders or proposal submissions.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare feasibility study reports.
- Perform technical assessments.
- Prepare costing for commercial proposals.
- Prepare designs and datasheets for PSS 1 submissions.
- Assist in procurement processes.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and specifications for procurement sourcing.
- Review quotations and price lists from contractors or vendors, providing technical analysis to procurement.
- Support the construction team during project execution.
- Attend testing and commissioning activities (FAT, SAT, etc.).
- Provide feedback in quality control processes.
- Review shop drawings/proposals from contractors or vendors and comment according to authority requirements and local/international standards.
- Evaluate contractor performance in terms of design and installation as part of quality control.
- Provide support for utility-scale proposals or projects in other regions.
- Address plant technical issues as required.
- Liaise with other teams for feedback on design and costing for continuous improvement.
- Propose BESS capacity according to project requirements.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Competencies, and Other Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- More than 3 years of experience in electrical transmission systems or grid interconnection facilities.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret requirements and apply them to design.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and PDF tools.
- Knowledge of ETAP or other PSS tools is advantageous.
- Work environment: 90% office, 10% on-site.
- On-site support may be required.
