A leading company in logistics is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to manage full accounting processes. The role involves generating financial reports, conducting cost analyses, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, along with a positive attitude towards problem-solving. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience in accounting.
Prepare and finalize a full set of accounts.
Generate financial statements, supporting schedules, budget reports, and management accounting reports.
Follow up on audit progress and address areas of concern highlighted in audit reports.
Conduct cost analysis and recommend improvements to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work processes.
Perform any other tasks or assignments as instructed by the superior.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Education Qualification:
Minimum SPM / LCCI or higher qualification in accounting or a related field.
Experience Requirement:
1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
