About the role

This full-time Purchasing Executive role at APM CORPORATE SERVICES SDN BHD in Port Klang, Selangor is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the manufacturing industry. You will play a key part in the purchasing team, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll be doing

Source and purchase required materials and supplies, ensuring competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.

Develop relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, handle discrepancies, and secure the best pricing.

Manage order processing, tracking, and delivery timelines to ensure materials arrive as needed.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.

Support the broader purchasing team with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Manufacturing.

We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin - speaking clients.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.

Able to multitask, work independently as well as team player.

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.

Solid understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations.

Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office tools (excel, word and power point).
