Role Overview:

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in our organization, focusing on data analysis, data engineering, and machine learning initiatives. Your main responsibilities include gathering business intelligence from various sources, analyzing complex datasets, and providing strategic recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency.

• Transform data into reusable analytics assets such as datasets, reports, pipelines, and notebooks within the Lakehouse and Data Warehouse.
• In Microsoft Fabric:
  • Ingest data using shortcuts, pipelines, or dataflows.
  • Transform data with dataflows, procedures, and notebooks.
  • Store data in the Lakehouse and Data Warehouse.
  • Build reusable data models and maximize data value through visualization and reporting in Power BI.

Requirements:

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and data engineering roles.
• Strong commercial awareness with expertise in data analysis, visualization, stakeholder management, data engineering principles, ETL, and data modeling.
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC), data security, and governance.
• Willingness to be based at HQ, Shah Alam.
