Your day at NTT DATA

As our new Information Systems (IS) Sub Lead in Malaysia, you will work in NTT Global Data Center Japan/APAC’s IS Department based at Cyberjaya data centre, supporting the daily operation of the Information Systems related systems and network infrastructure, and participate in project work as required by the business and client requirements. You will report to the IS Lead in MY.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent IS Lead MY in his/her absence or unavailability.
• Responsible for system administrative works and data steward tasks for daily operation.
• Manage Change Management practices in line with Technical Lead approval, impact analysis, communication, and documentation of changes.
• Follow required practices across the organization in accordance with Group IT Security policies/procedures.
• Support IT/System users in Malaysia.
• Target Systems include those listed in the NTTGDC Global IS Roadmap and existing GDC APAC IT systems, including security-related systems and platforms such as LAN/Wi-Fi, Firewall, SSL-VPN, IPS/IDS, EDR, Vulnerability Management, and SIEM Log Management.
• Drive the lifecycle of all systems in scope of the GDC Global IS Roadmap, ensuring standardization and support for business needs.

Knowledge and Attributes:

• Experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, and ITIL-based operations within an IT Service Provider Industry.
• Knowledge of networking, servers, protocols, applications, and end-user computing devices.
• Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks related to data center operations.
• Flexibility to travel as needed.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and facilitate projects.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, or Scaled Agile are advantageous.

Required Experience:

• Moderate experience in IT operations within a global IT services environment.
• Experience leading and managing an IT team.
• Experience working in Agile teams and projects.
• Business experience in project management, technical support, or systems programming is a plus.
